Ephesus was founded in the 10th century BC by Ionian Greeks and was later ruled by the Persians, Alexander the Great, and the Romans. During its peak, it had a population of up to 250,000 people and was home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis. It was once one of the largest cities in the Ancient world and a center of trade and culture. Nowadays visitors can explore the remarkably preserved ruins one of the most ancient cities in the world.

Today you will visit: Temple of Artemis (one of the 7 Ancient Wonders of the World), Ephesus Ancient City,  Hadrian Temple, Celsius Library, Theater, Hamams and Old Harbor.

Ephesus is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. It is a must-see destination for anyone interested in history, archaeology, or ancient architecture.

You will have lunch break in a local restaurant. After lunch will visit the House of Virgin Mary which is believed to have been the final home of the Virgin Mary, who is said to have lived there with Saint John the Evangelist after the death of Jesus. The house was discovered in the 19th century. The site was authenticated by the Vatican and has since become an important pilgrimage place for both Christians and Muslims.
